Background

My story

One of the trips that helped shape the way I look at travel was a visit to Orlando, Florida. Orlando is known for the attractions, entertainment, and energy, but what stayed with me was something bigger. Being away from the normal routine reminded me how powerful it can be to create experiences, make memories, and simply enjoy life from a different perspective. There are moments on a trip when you realize you are not just visiting another city. You are creating a memory that may stay with you for years. That experience became part of what eventually led me to become a travel advisor. Today, I am a certified Travelovin Travel Advisor, and I help clients with all facets of travel. Whether someone is planning a cruise, family vacation, romantic getaway, group trip, milestone celebration, weekend escape, or a completely customized experience, my goal is to help make the process easier, more intentional, and less overwhelming. What separates my approach is how I listen. My background in life coaching has taught me that understanding someone begins with going beyond the first answer. The same thing applies to travel. Someone may say, “I want to go somewhere warm,” but what they may really want is a chance to reconnect with their spouse. They may ask for a family vacation, but what matters most is creating memories with their children before another year passes. Someone planning a birthday getaway may not simply want a destination. They may want the experience to feel like a celebration of how far they have come. Those details matter to me. Before I begin thinking about destinations, resorts, cruises, activities, or itineraries, I want to understand the experience you are hoping to have. How do you want to feel when you arrive? What kind of memories do you want to bring home? What would make you say, “That trip was exactly what I needed”? Once I understand that, I can help build the travel experience around you instead of simply handing you a list of options. Becoming a travel advisor gave me another way to do something I have always valued: helping people create meaningful experiences in their lives. Because travel is not only about where you go. It is about who you go with, what you experience, how you feel while you are there, and the stories you continue telling long after you return home. That is the kind of travel I want to help you create.

Philosophy

My approach

My approach to planning travel starts with the person, not the destination. I want to understand what you want the trip to feel like before we ever start talking about hotels, resorts, cruises, or itineraries. Some travelers want adventure. Others want rest, romance, celebration, family connection, or simply a chance to step away from everyday life. That is why I use a simple three-step planning process: **1. Discovery** We start with a conversation about you. I learn about your destination ideas, budget, travel style, priorities, who you are traveling with, and most importantly, what you want the experience to feel like. **2. Custom Travel Proposal** Once I understand your vision, I research and organize options that fit your needs. Instead of overwhelming you with endless choices, I narrow things down and help you compare the options that make the most sense for your trip. **3. Booking & Travel Support** Once you are ready, I help coordinate the booking details and make sure you know what comes next. My goal is to help you feel prepared and supported so you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time looking forward to the experience. My own trip to Orlando, Florida helped shape this philosophy. Orlando has no shortage of things to do, but what stayed with me was not simply the attractions. It was the experience of stepping outside the normal routine, enjoying the moment, and realizing that some of our best memories are created when we intentionally make time to experience something different. That is what I want to create for the people I work with. A couple planning an anniversary may not just need a hotel and airfare. They may want uninterrupted time to reconnect. A family may not simply be looking for a vacation. They may want their children to have an experience they will still talk about years later. A group celebrating a milestone may want something that feels special without having to coordinate every detail themselves. Understanding that difference changes how I plan. I bring a coaching mindset to travel planning, which means I pay attention not only to where you want to go, but why the trip matters to you. That allows me to help create an experience that feels personal rather than simply putting together a reservation. **Why work with me?** I am a **certified Travelovin Travel Advisor** with the ability to assist with all facets of travel, including cruises, resorts, family vacations, couples getaways, group travel, milestone celebrations, weekend escapes, and customized itineraries. My goal is simple: **You bring the vision. I help turn it into the journey.**
