My story
Hello, my name is Karoline Tucker and I always say that travel has truly shaped my twenties, and I am now excited to help you create journeys of your own! I graduated University with a Degree in Hospitality Management and my career began at The W Aspen, where I spent two years honing my expertise in luxury/personalized guest experiences. Seeking new challenges and a new adventure, I relocated to Barcelona, Spain, where I worked as a Groups Reservation Executive organizing large group reservations for events across Europe and the United States. While living in Spain, I was able to travel a ton! Including trips to Andorra, The Czech Republic, Greece, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Iceland, as well as overseas to countries like Thailand, Argentina, and Mexico. It is safe to say that I have a true passion for travel! And with a strong background in delivering exceptional service I am excited to bring my knowledge, enthusiasm, and commitment to your next adventure!
Philosophy
My approach
1. Purpose: Decide what you want the trip to feel like—restful, adventurous, cultural, romantic, or a mix. Note any must-haves and what you’d rather avoid. 2. Budget and Dates: Choose a comfortable total budget, including a cushion for surprises. Check work, school, and seasonal constraints before settling on dates. 3. Destination: Match the destination to your interests, travel style, budget, and available time. Consider weather, travel time, accessibility, and how much you want to move around. 4. Simple trip outline: Pick your arrival and departure points, then group experiences by neighborhood or region. Leave breathing room—one or two key activities per day is often more enjoyable than a packed schedule. 5. Book the essentials: Arrange transportation and lodging, prioritizing location, cancellation terms, and reliable connections. Check entry requirements and any practical needs before paying. 6. Personalize: Choose a few experiences that reflect what matters to you: a local food spot, a guided walk, time in nature, a cultural event, or a quiet day to recharge. 7. Plan logistics without overplanning: Map airport transfers and routes between major stops. Save confirmations, addresses, tickets, and emergency contacts somewhere accessible offline. 8. Prepare for a smooth departure: Check baggage rules, travel documents, insurance, medication, money access, and phone connectivity. Share your itinerary with someone you trust. 9. Stay flexible: Keep your priorities in mind, but leave room to follow a recommendation, change plans, or simply enjoy an unplanned moment. 10. Reflect!: Note what you loved, what you’d change, and any places or experiences you’d like to revisit. It makes planning your next trip easier—and more personal.
