Background
My story
I’m Kiryu, and travel has been my favorite way to spend my earnings since I started working. What I bring isn’t decades of agency experience — it’s the perspective of someone who plans trips the way most young professionals actually do: balancing a real job, a real budget, and the desire to come back with stories worth telling. My focus regions are Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, the Maldives, India, Greece, the UK and Ireland — a mix of Asian classics, beach escapes, and European city breaks that cover most of what young travelers are dreaming about right now. I got into advising because friends kept asking me to plan their holidays — flights, stays, day-by-day routes — and I realized I genuinely enjoy the puzzle of putting a great trip together within someone’s budget. If you want a luxury concierge, I’m not your person. If you want a thoughtful, well-researched trip that doesn’t waste your money or your leave days — let’s talk.
Philosophy
My approach
I plan trips the way I’d plan my own: anchor stays in good-but-not-overpriced neighborhoods, pick 2–3 experiences worth splurging on, and leave enough breathing room that the trip doesn’t feel like a checklist. I research heavily before recommending anything — flight routing, neighborhood vibes, local transport, the real cost of “free” hotel breakfasts. My sweet spot is mid-range travel for working professionals: people with money to spend but limited PTO, who want their 8 days off to count. I cover Japan and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Bali) for first-timers and returning travelers, the Maldives for honeymoons and milestone trips, India for both inbound visitors and domestic getaways, and Greece, the UK and Ireland for European breaks that don’t break the bank.
