Hello! I am Louisa. I was born in Brazil and have lived in several European countries, including Germany, France, Denmark, and Sweden. I have also traveled extensively across Europe — especially in my younger years, often by train and backpack. I prefer staying in private homes rather than hotels, as it allows for a more authentic experience, closer contact with locals, and more meaningful recommendations. That said, I also appreciate hotels that offer a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service. When I travel, luxury is not my main priority. I value cleanliness, safety, human warmth, a good location, easy access to public transportation and supermarkets, and proximity to cultural and tourist attractions. I have been an Airbnb guest since 2013 and a Superhost since 2023, hosting my own properties in Brazil. In December 2025, I joined HomeExchange, where I’ve had very positive experiences — Turkey was my first stay through the platform. Since February 2026, I have also been active on Booking.com as a host, after more than 10 years using the platform as a guest. I am also a Google contributor, with over 30 million photo views and more than 200,000 views on my reviews — trusted by thousands of travelers online. I have been sharing my travel experiences online since 2006 — both the highlights and the challenges.
