Experience Mauritius & Cape Town Beyond the Guidebooks I’m a travel enthusiast turned specialist with a deep, personal connection to some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations—particularly Mauritius and Cape Town. Born and raised in Mauritius, I spent my early years exploring every corner of the island, from hidden beaches to local gems that most travelers never get to experience. Some of my most vivid memories begin at sunrise, on a boat in Mauritius, with my grandmother. She wasn’t your typical grandmother—she had a speedboat, and early in the mornings, the two of us and my older brother would head out onto the lagoon to find dolphins. I still remember how quiet everything felt, with the island slowly waking up in the distance as they swam around us. By the end of the day, we’d be back on the water with the whole family, doing sunset picnics on the boat or on little hidden beaches. That’s really where my love for sharing Mauritius started—growing up there was something truly special. Today, I also run a short-term rental business managing luxury villas across the island, giving me insider access to some of the most exclusive stays and a deep understanding of what makes a truly exceptional travel experience. At 19, I moved to Cape Town to study, and it quickly became my second home. Since then, I’ve been going back at least twice a year to see friends and spend time in what is still my favorite city in the world. My South African friends always joke that I’m more local than they are—I’m always up to date with where to go, what’s new, and the places that are actually worth it. I’ve also lived in London for four years, and I now split my time between Mauritius and Italy, while continuing to travel regularly. I mainly focus on Mauritius and Cape Town because these are the places I know by heart—and the ones I genuinely love sharing. Becoming a travel agent felt like a natural path. I’ve always been the person organizing trips, crafting itineraries, and helping others discover places in a more personal way.
