Background
My story
My career in travel began in September 1978 after graduating from a two-year Travel and Tourism program at SAIT Technical School in Calgary, Canada. After a wonderful 44 years, 91 countries, 55 cruises, and many incredible adventures, I officially retired in October 2022. Or so I thought. My industry was calling me back, and here I am. My specialties are adventure travel, ocean and river cruises, and complicated international air itinerary tickets. Among my favorite journeys: sailing the Amazon River from Manaus to Barbados on Silversea ultra-luxury cruises; mountain gorilla tracking in Uganda, the wildest thing my husband and I have ever done; Bali, Thailand, Iceland, and a polar bear expedition ship 500 miles from the North Pole. India and the Galapagos Islands were also highlights in my life. How may I assist you with your travel plans? I'll take care of all segments, saving you time and money, advise on documentation and insurance, and provide support during and after your return home.
Philosophy
My approach
Both of my areas of expertise at times couldn't be more opposite on the travel style spectrum, with cruising being a more luxurious vacation compared to sometimes roughing it with adventure travel, and I love both. Asking questions such as my clients' travel budget, flexibility of travel dates, what you'd like to see and experience, what your tastes and preferences are, and what your travel style is. Do you have any medical conditions? I check that your passport is valid for at least six months after your return.
