Background
My story
My journey into travel advisory didn’t begin with a degree in tourism or a corporate role in travel. It began with helping people. I’ve always been the person friends, family, and colleagues turned to when they needed help booking flights, planning trips, or navigating travel requirements. Over time, I realized that what came naturally to me — organizing, problem-solving, and paying attention to details — was making a real difference to people’s travel experiences. Professionally, my background is in engineering and business improvement, where precision, efficiency, and accountability are non-negotiable. Travel may seem like a different world, but the skills translate seamlessly. Every itinerary, booking, and connection matters. One small mistake can disrupt an entire journey — and I take that responsibility seriously. What truly drives my passion for travel is access. Growing up in Papua New Guinea, I saw how travel often felt out of reach — something only “other people” could afford or manage. I wanted to change that narrative. Travel shouldn’t be stressful, confusing, or reserved for a few. It should be possible, well-planned, and meaningful, regardless of your background or budget. That belief led me to formally establish Alpha Travel Agency — a service-first business built on trust, transparency, and personalized support. I don’t just book tickets. I listen. I plan. I guide. I make sure clients understand their options, their costs, and their journey — from departure to return. Whether I’m coordinating corporate travel, supporting organizations, or helping families travel for the first time, my goal is always the same: 👉 to make travel simpler, smoother, and more empowering. Travel opens doors — to knowledge, opportunity, connection, and growth. Being part of that journey for others is what keeps me passionate about what I do every single day.
Philosophy
My approach
My approach to travel planning is personal, structured, and detail-driven. I start by listening. Every traveler is different — their purpose, budget, timing, and comfort level all matter. Before making any bookings, I take the time to understand what my clients truly need, not just where they want to go. With a background in engineering, business improvement, and FIFO work, I plan trips the same way I plan projects — with clarity, risk awareness, and efficiency. I think ahead about connections, transit times, travel fatigue, visa requirements, and contingencies. This is especially important for FIFO workers, families, and first-time travelers, where even small disruptions can have a big impact. I also plan with real life in mind. As a mother and frequent traveler myself, I understand the practical challenges of traveling with children, balancing work schedules, and making the most of limited leave. My itineraries are realistic, not rushed — designed to reduce stress and maximize value. What sets my service apart is the combination of lived experience, professional discipline, and genuine care. I don’t offer one-size-fits-all packages. Every trip is tailored. I provide transparent guidance, explain options clearly, and help clients make informed decisions rather than pushing what’s most expensive or convenient for me. I also pride myself on being hands-on and accessible. From the first inquiry to post-travel follow-up, I remain personally involved. Clients aren’t passed between agents — they work directly with me. Most importantly, my service is built on trust. I understand that travel represents time, money, family moments, and sometimes once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. I plan every journey with the same care I would for my own family.
