Background
My story
I am an Orlando native, born and raised in what I believe to be the best travel destination worldwide! Traveling and the hospitality industry is definitely in my blood! My family and I worked in the local hotels and tourist attractions, including my past work at Universal Studios and an aunt who's worked for Walt Disney World since its beginning (1971), culminating a total of 55 years! I am adventurous and love to travel! I have been to Europe (Spain, England, France and Italy) and have cruised 5 times (3 times to the nearby Bahamas from Florida, once in Italy / France, and once to Alaska from Seattle, Washington). I also have been to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Lastly, with a bucket list to visit all 50 states, I have visited 42 thus far (with Alaska recently in June of 2026). I will be traveling to Hawaii in August of 2026 and plan to visit the remaining states of Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Oregon very soon. I am a passionate travel advisor who believes in putting clients first and ensuring that clients have the best, affordable, maximum travel experience possible. With my client(s)'s best interest at heart, my goal is to ensure my clients have a quality, safe but memorable journey anywhere around the world.
Philosophy
My approach
1. Define the Purpose Ask yourself: Why am I taking this trip? Relaxation, adventure, family visit, business, education, or sightseeing? What are the “must-do” experiences? Having a clear purpose helps you avoid overplanning. 2. Set a Budget Determine: Transportation Lodging Food Activities Emergency fund For example, if your budget is $2,000, you might allocate: Flights: $600 Hotel: $800 Food: $300 Activities: $200 Emergency cushion: $100 3. Choose Dates and Destination Consider: Weather Peak vs. off-peak season Local events and festivals Time available 4. Research Transportation and Lodging Compare: Flights, trains, rental cars, or public transportation Hotels, vacation rentals, hostels, or resorts Book major items early if traveling during busy seasons. 5. Create a Flexible Itinerary Plan: 1–2 major activities per day Travel time between locations Free time for spontaneous discoveries Many travelers make the mistake of scheduling every hour. 6. Prepare Documents Check: Passport validity Visas (if needed) Travel insurance Reservations and confirmations Keep digital and printed copies. 7. Pack Strategically Make a checklist: Clothing appropriate for weather Chargers and electronics Medications Travel essentials Pack versatile items that can be mixed and matched. 8. Plan for Safety Share your itinerary with someone you trust. Know local emergency numbers. Keep backup payment methods. Research common scams and local customs. 9. Leave Room for Unexpected Opportunities Some of the best travel experiences happen when plans change. Build in flexibility. A Simple Trip Planning Timeline 2–6 months before: Choose destination, budget, and book flights/hotels. 1 month before: Plan activities and transportation. 1 week before: Confirm reservations and pack. 1 day before: Check weather, travel alerts, and documents. If you’re planning a specific trip, tell me: Destination Travel dates Number of travelers Budget and I can help you build a detailed itinerary
