I've been exploring the world for decades—now I help others do the same. I divide my time between the Netherlands and Eygpt, where I live part of the year with my Egyptian husband. He runs a hotel and we organize desert trips. I have loved travel ever since we were piled into the family car in the Netherlands. Sitting on top of sleeping bags and tents, my mom would drive us of to France! What an adventure - before the Euro and open borders, it was a whole new, big world out there. Putting up our tent next to the local football field, learning how to buy bread and pastries at the local bakery. Food is a big driver. I love food tours and cooking classes. A whole world of possibilities opened up to us through travel! Further south I went, to Portugal, and then to the US. My first ventures outside of the western world, to Sri Lanka with my dad, Thailand and Mexico with my brother. I love exploring Europe, any time I have the chance and will be on my first trip to Japan. Ask me anything, I'm here to help!
