My wife always told me that we will travel a lot more once our daughter goes to college. After she passed away 9 years ago, I was determined to travel, either by myself, with friends or if I’m lucky enough, with a new love. Fortunately, I was able to do all three. I’ve been to traditional places - Paris, England, Italy and some other places not as traditional - Ukraine, Scotland, Iceland, Uzbekistan. I go regularly to Costa Rica and I’ve been to 40 of the 50 states. I prepare for these trips extensively, down to the coolest restaurants. I plan our agenda and I’ve been hugely successful.
